My journey took a significant turn in December 2019 when my mom was diagnosed with cancer. I cared for her until her passing on July 2, 2021. This experience profoundly impacted me and motivated me to preserve her memories and honor the lessons she taught me by creating a lasting legacy. As a caregiver advocate, I have experience in supporting families through grief as well as experiencing it personally. My work experience includes roles at a memory care facility, where I firsthand observed the challenges of caring for patients with dementia and Alzheimer's.
